Job Description
This team enables automation at Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Centers and serves internal teams by providing real-time and offline (image/video) data auditing services. A key contribution of this team is maintaining inventory accuracy across fulfillment centers.
As an Associate, ML Data Operations, you will watch stowing action videos from fulfillment centers, analyze them carefully, and use human judgment along with provided tools to mark and verify product locations with high accuracy. This operational role involves precise and thorough video/image audits that directly support Amazon’s automated systems.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Watch several hundred short videos per shift and provide accurate responses based on goals for quality and productivity.
- Ensure 6.8 to 7 productive hours per day with pre-defined breaks.
- Maintain a dedicated workspace with proper setup and confidentiality when working from home.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to identify elements in blurry or unclear videos.
- Adhere to quality and performance targets while working in rotational shifts.
- Participate in virtual meetings with camera enabled and be open to occasional office visits if required.
Candidate Expectations
- Willingness to work in a non-technical role for a 6-month contract.
- Ability to audit image, video, or text-based data accurately.
- High focus and screen attention for extended periods.
- Readiness to meet incremental goals on quality and productivity.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts) and weekends.
- Collaborative attitude and ability to perform in remote team settings.
A Day in the Life
Associates work in a 24×7 environment with rotational 9-hour shifts (including scheduled breaks). Shift timings may change every few months based on business needs. Night shift allowances are provided per Amazon policy. Associates enjoy a 5-day work week with two consecutive rotational offs.
About the Team
The Data Auditing Operations Team provides human verification support for Amazon Fulfillment Centers. The team performs visual audits on videos/images to enhance the accuracy of automated stowing processes. Associates’ reviews improve automation effectiveness, contributing to defect reduction and quality improvement.
